A success story
At the beginning of the 20th century, in 1924, the “GB” cartridge was born in Eibar.
On the initiative of Mr. Jacinto Gárate from Eibar, who created the company Gárate y Block, one of the pioneers in Spanish hunting and competition cartridges appeared on the Spanish market. In 1966, and given the good reception of GB Cartridges, the company expanded its facilities and moved to Vitoria.
Since then, the GB brand and its team have strived to maintain the quality, care and closeness that characterise the company’s past and present. Closeness is key for us and that is why at GB Cartridges we want to be “your team mate”. We want to be the “team mate” of millions of hunters and shooters around the world and participate in their success, which is why we have developed our brand and products with you in mind.

In our modern factory in Álava, GB cartridges are loaded and tested using the most technologically advanced machinery, in accordance with the regulations of the “Commision Internationale Permanente pour l´Épreuve des Armes à Feu Portatives (C.I.P.)”, which guarantees their quality and safety.
